JOCKEY PARKE IN FRONT Champion Rider of Last Year Already Holds Big Lead Over His Rival for 1924 Honors. It looks like another great year for jockey Parke. The youngster, who astonished the racing world by heading the list of American riders for the year 1923, his first year in the saddle, continues to ride even more brilliantly than ever before and has already a big lead on his rivals for this years honors. From January 1 to and including Saturday, January 26, Parke has had 127 mounts and has ridden 41 winners, an average of nearly two a day. S. ODonnell, riding at Tijuana, is attracting attention by the skill he has shown in riding twenty-seven winners out of 121 mounts and thereby earning the honor of being second to Parke. The veteran A. Pickens is going great guns at Havana and is third on the list. F. Lee, J. Callahan, C. Greenwood, J. Woods, L. Creery, G. Mein and E. Barnes also have been showing up well.
