SUE DONOVAN-BLANC SEING Both-Going Soundly After Recovering from Mishaps in the Racing of Last Year. NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 27. Sue Donovan, winner of five stakes last year, has not yet been seen under colors this winter. Last fall this speedy daughter of Black Toney and Insulator had to be fired for bad knees and ankles and it is only recently that her trainer has placed her back in training. The filly is now galloping soundly and Sunday morning she worked three-eighths in creditable time and pulled up sound. Blanc Seing has also been given a long let-up, due to the fact that he came out of the Preakness Stakes last May with a bowed tendon, which forced him out of training until the latter part of last October. Since then the crack son of North Star HI. and Bed of Roses hs been going along slowly, as li is trainer is not disposed to hurry him. It is possible that both Sue Donovan and Blanc Seing will be given a race or two at the Fair Grounds prior to their being shipped to Tijuana.
