Won easily; second and third driving. BONA FIDK was saved until well arcund the last turn, then raced to the front and drew away into a long lead. REY ENXIS closed a big gap and finished fast. WEINLAND lacked early speed, but finished with a rush. CISQUA set the pace to the last turn and tired in the last quarter. SOME PUMPKINS ran a good race. RUDDLES ran well and headed CHINCO-TEAUUE in the last, sixteenth. The latter showed much the most early speed, but tired. BLARNEY ROY finished fast cn the outside. QUIET was cased up at the end. REN ROLT saved ground when entering the stretch and, taking the lead, appeared to be going easily at the eighth post, but tired right at the end. EYE RRIGHT encountered much interference in ! the early racing and was pulled up, then finished with a rush. RAPID STRIDE began well, but was taken up after he hud gone a quarter of a mile. ARMISTICE was saved until rounding the far turn, from where he moved up steadily and drew away into an easy lead when entering the stretch, but was tiring at the end and doing his best to J withstand the rush of GRANDSON. GRANDSON reared up as the barrier was sprung and was cut off on the turn out rf the backstrctch and again in the last sixteenth, but squeezed through next to the rail 1 and barely failed to win. NEENAII was brought on the outside of the leaders when entering the stretch and made a game finish. PLAUDEL ran well. JACOBEAN tired badly after leading to the last turn.
