SAM BUSH HERE ON VISIT Colored Rider Who Has Met with : i Great Success in France to Return Abroad This W eek. i NEW YORK, N. T.. Feb. 4. Sam Bush, who was once a leading steeplechase rider in this country, but is now a trainer of a public stable in France, has been visiting in this country for several weeks. He reached here Friday from Baltimore, where he had been visiting relatives, and will return to France this week. Bush has met with considerable success both as a trainer and a rider since he took up the practice of his profession abroad some two years ago. At present he has a number of good horses in his charge and he rides a number of them himself in races through the field. Bush is much impressed with Pierre Wortheimers Epinard. He exercised the colt regularly as a two-year-old. Bush declared that Epinard is an extremely fast horse and rather hard to control. He is such a quick leginner that he makes the start look bad in almost every race in which he runs. I
