LEONA FARM TWO-YEAR-OLDS j Mr. Martin Nathanson, the efficient man-: ager and agent of Leona Stud Farm, corrects a statement in Daily Racing Forms Louisville letter of February 12 to the effect that five of Leona Farms two-year-olds are at Churchill Downs in charge of R. II. Shannon, and says that, on the contrary, they are at Lexington in care of trainer W. F. Doyle. It may be said that, so far as ancestry is concerned, they give precedence to none. In tho main they are a band of costly young horses and high hopes are centered in their future in the mimic warfare of the race track. For the Tlieo. Cook June Bug colt 2,600 was paid at the Saratoga sales of last August, being the highest price given for any of the progeny of Theo. Cook. The Flittergold Harvest Queen colt cost ,200 : the Hourless Seemly colt ,200 ; the Negofol Broom Straw filly, ,100, and the Negofol Fair Fame filly, ,600. Being the property of a Chicago establishment, it is more than probable that the racing of these richly-bred two-year-olds w!ll bo followed with more than ordinary interest by local followers of racing. Their names will be published in due time.
