TOP RUNG raced into an easy lead after rounding the far turn and drew away in the stretch to win as his rider pleased. FOX GLOVE ran well and easily passed BAB in the last eighth. BAB set the early pace and tired in the stretch. BONNIE JACK made a wide turn when entering the stretch. CASTILLA stumbled and lost her rider after going twenty yards. BLACK WATCH II. forced the pace to the stretch turn, where he raced to the front and held GRAY GIRL safe in the stretch. The latter began slowly and worked her way up on the outside, but tired in the stretch drive. SUZUKI closed a gap and outgamed PONCE in the final drive. SIMII.KAMEEN BOY showed the most early speed, but quit in the stretch. CHINCOTEAGUB was as good as left. THOR closed a big gap and finished fast on the outside. PLAID was eased up in the last quarter.
