COLUMBUS SPRING MEETING Nineteen Days Racing at Beulah Park, April 19 to May 10. Many Improvements to Grounds and Track Joseph A. Murphy To Be Presiding Judge. COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 26. The program book, for the spring meeting of the Capital City Racing Association, to be held at Beulah Park for nineteen days from April 19 to May 10, has been printed and distributed among horsemen. There will be sdven races daily and the purses will be of 00, 00, 00 and ?S00 with an occasional handicap of ,000. The Beulah track is situated at Grove City, four miles south of here. Many improvements havebeen made to the grounds and the track will be open for training on March 15. Since the last meeting here the track itself has been gone over and a new draining system installed, which is expected to keep the course in fine condition. Even after a heavy rain the track should dry rapidly and at all times be perfectly safe to race over. The Beulah Park meeting Avill he preceded by thirteen days of racing at Huntington, AV. Va., and, following the sport here, the horses will move over to Maple Heights, Cleveland, where the Ohio State Jockey Club will hold forth from May 17 to May 31. It is also planned to hold a summer meeting at Beulah Park commencing August 2 and continuing to August 23, a period of 19 days. The racing officials for the Beulah Park spring meeting arc Joseph A.
