BIG PRICE FOR VANIDOSO Speedy Two-Year-Old Filly Sold to Frank Kenny for a Reported Sum of 0,000. NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 26. The fast filly Vanidoso, a. double winner here and a probable star, has been purchased by Frank Kenny, well known theatrical magnate of Brooklyn. The consideration is said to be close to 0,000, though in some quarters it was reported that ?21,000 was the actual amount paid. Vanidoso has been developed by trainer William Perkins. She was owned by John Payne. The latter recently sent Perkins word when negotiations for the filly first began that he would consider an offer of 0,-000 for her. Trainer Perkins said that he thought the price paid for her was 0,000. Sho was transferred to the Ben Block stable and trainer Fred Burlew will have her in charge at least for such time as Mr. Kenny orders her turned over to some one else. Mr. Kenny departed this morning for Miami, Fla.
