THORND ALES DERBY RIDER NEW ORLEANS, La., March 3. Hart Dunham, agent for Benjamin Block, has signed jockey Lloyd McDermott, contract rider for the Howard Oots stable, to. pilot Thorndale in the Louisiana Derby. The engagement of McDermott definitely settles the rumor that Earl Sande would come here to ride the Block colt.
