Won easily; second and third driving. MALACHA began fast and, escaping a jam soon after the start, came fast through the stretch and wou going away. DEAN II., also away well, set a good pace to the last eighth and tired, but finished gamely. CRINKLE was also lucky in escaping interference and raced forwardly throughout. WILD WING finished well after closing a gap. HONEST MOSE was away badly and in a jam for most of the way. NELCHEN was forced back soon after the start. Won driving; second and third the same. OUR FLAG raced in clcsest pursuit of JOHN JOSEPH to near the end and outstayed him in a game finish. The latter showed the mcst speed and only .succumbed in the last two strides. THESEUS raced prominently all the way and finished fairly well. OGARITE came with a rush through the stretch. JOHN Q. KELLY quit and ran a poor race. KILBOWIE was far back all the way. SEQUEL was away poorly. ROOT BLACK tired. Scratched 7757G Antilles, 101; 77577 May Rodin 100. The latter under hard riding ran a good race, but tired slightly near the end after taking the lead. SWEEPSTAKES showed the most early speed, but began tiring in the last eighth.
