HORSE MEETS SUDDEN DEATH LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 19. Sunburst II., a five-year-old in the stable of William Phillips, met death in a peculiar way at Churchill Downs a few days ago. The horse had been saddled preparatory to being taken on the track for work when he reached around and caught one of the stirrups in his mouth. The equipment got caught in his teeth and, in attempting to dislodge it, he fell sideways and broke his neck.
