Pierre Wertheimers sensational four-year-old Epi-nard continues to draw top weight assignments from English handicappers. For the Kemplon Park Great Jubilee Handicap, which will be run May 17, the Frencli colt lias be.m assigned 137 pounds and in the City and Suburban he will bo asked to carry 130. In the Great Jubilee the next high weight is assigned to Poisoned Arrow, which is handicapped at 130 pound. Lord Derbys Pharos, second in the Epsom Derby last year, and A. K. Maconibcrs Parth, which finished third in that classic, arc ootli assigned 121 pounds. Simon Purse is in at 120 pounds; Town Guard at 119; Verdict, which beat Epi-nard in the Cambridgeshire, at 1 IS; Drake, Ellangowan, Condover and Evander all at 11C. Epinard appears at a disadvantage in this assignment of weights. Verdict should give him a hard raco at the weights and Parth also appears dangerous. In the City and ;uburban Poisoned Arro" is to carry 131 pounds, Pharos 122 and Verdict 120.
