The first race will be held at Belmont Fark and will have ." ,000 added, the second at Aqueduct also with 5,000 added and the third at Latonia with fSMtt added. The fact that substantial rewards will go to the placed horses in each race should meet with the horsemens approval. The races at three-quarters and a mile will each have $."..000 for the second and ,000 to the third, while the mile and a quarter fixture will have four monies — ,009 to second, ,000 to third and ,000 to fourth. Copies of the proposed races, the conditions of which are appended, are now in the hands of B. M. Douglas, the American representa- tive of Pierre Wertheimer, owner of Kpinard, who will transmit them to his principal. At Ilclmont Park A sweepstakes of ."0 each for three-year-olds and upward, with ,000 additional for starters. The Westchester Pacing association to add 5,00, of which ,000 to second and ,000 to third. Weight-for-age. Six furlongs. At Aqueduct A sweepstakes of 50 each for three-year-olds and upward, with ,000 additional for starters. The Queens County Jockey club to add 5,000, of which .0U0 to second and ,000 to third. Weight-for-age. One mile. At l.atonia A sweepstakes of 50 each for three-year-olds and upward, with ,000 additional for starters. The Kentucky Jockey club to add 0,000, of which ,000 to second, ,000 to third and ,000 to fourth. Weight-for-age. One and one-quarter miles. It has been the custom to offer fourth money in Kentucky for the more substantial races, and the plan was followed in this case a!so. It should have a bearing on the size of the field for the Latonia race.
