Y.. April 24— Zev. the greatest money winner of the American turf, is scheduled to make his 1924 debut in the Paumonok Handicap, the opening day feature of the New York racing season next Tues-I day at Jamaica. Trainer S. C. Hildreth brought a division of the noted Baneoeas Stable to Belmont Iark this week. The shipment included : I twenty-nine horses, ten of them two-year- olds. The string was headed by champion ZeV and all appeared in fine condition. The remainder of the stable will arrive shortly. Trainer Hildreth had the entire band in two sets Wednesday morning and jogged them over the main track. The horses will be seen under colors before many days have passed. Bracadale. Stanwix and Mad Play, the stables three hopes for the rich three-year-old events, were given limbering up exercises following the train ride. The three-year-olds are said to have worked well over the private training track at Jobstown. The plans for their future engagements in the Preakness and Kentucky Derby have I I j not been completed, but trainer Hildreth is] well satisfied with their progress. Jockeys j Barl Sande. Baverne Fator and Ij. M. Fator accompanied the stable from the farm. The ! three boys are in good physical condition j i and not far from riding weight. I Mad Play, which raced Wise Counsellor j to a neck in the running of the Kentucky Jockey club stakes at I»uisville last fall after "a "slow beginning, is probably the strongest classic candidate in the stable. The son of Fair Ilay and Bady Madcap is going along impressively. Mad Blay is a brother to the temperamental Mad Hatter. .A. , .
