Won driving; second and third the same. POIJ.YMARA was forced and set a fast early jvice. but was tiring at the end and driving to the limit to outstay WUKATSTICK. The latter began slowly and was mosed about in the early running and moved up rapidly on the stretch turn, but was inclined to swerve in behind lioreses in the stretch and ran as if much the best. WRA K1IOR.N ran a good race and made a g ime finish. WATCH CHARM showed speed, but tired in the last quarter. DUNKS GREEN raced under restraint until in the last turn f the field, then he moved up rapidly and, easily racing into the lead, drew far away in the last quarter. WOODI.KY II. JTimped well, but his weight told on him and he tired badly. McDORAN was always badly outrun. HK.NRY DATTNER was tiring when he fell at the last jump. CAVKNDISH fell at the thirteenth. NEW HAMPSHIRE took the lead quickly and. setting a fast pace inder slight restraint until in the final eighth, and tired suddenly and was forced to stand a hard dri/e to mitfinish the nett two. WILKES-BARRE raced in close up pursuit for the entire race and made a menacing challenge in the stretch drive. SPOT CASH carried his big weight well, was on the outside of the ieaders for the entire way and was fastest at the finish. The others were beaten off. Won driving: second and third the same. SETHS LEMON began skwiy, but gradually improved his position and, wearing ARKNDAL down in the stretch, outgamed him in a dose finish. ARENDAL set a fast early pace and. after being headed by RUNAWAY, raced the latter into defeat, but tired in the last sixteenth. FEHRAH closed a gap and just got up in time to nose VACUUM out. TRAJANUS forced a fast early pace and, racing CURLAND into defeat in the first half mile, took the lead aud, saving ground when enteriug the homestretch, had to be ridden out at the end to outstay NIGHT RAIDER. The latter tired after moving up with a rush on the outside, but cam* again ia the last sixteenth and was wearing the winner down. PERSISTENCE ran a good race and finished gamely. CURLAND was made too much use of in early pacesaakxug and quit in the stretch.
