Wallace departed tonight for Canada where he will ride for his contract employer, Edward Trotter. Jefferson Livingstons eastern string, in charge of J. A. Coburn, leaves New York tcday for Churchill Downs. • Busy Signal foaled a colt by Black Servant, and Bandella, another Idle Hour Farm-owned one, foaled a colt by North Star III. The Market Street Merchants Association, for which the fifth race was named, presented the owner of the winner with a silver cup and the winning jockey with a belt and penknife. Mrs. R, M. Hoots and her son, who came here from Tulsa, Okla., to witness Black Gold run in the Golden Jubilee Derby, de- parted today for their home. They will pos- sibly return to witness Black Gold perform in the Latcnia Derby. Jockey J. Wallace was warned by the stew- ards that if he fails hereafter to ride out his mounts until crossing the finish he would be given an indefinite suspension. The warn-ning followed his easing Anglum Maid before the finish and almost getting beaten for second place. Several riders have been re-» peatedly guilty of failing to ride out their mounts when they consider them beaten.
