James and Wbc Counsellor Iloth Among Nominations — Sarazcn Not Eligible Itecause a C elding. St venty-ciht high class three-year-olds have been named fir the Dwyer Stakes with ,000 added, at a mile and an eighth, which will be decidt d during the spring meeting at Aqueduct course of the Qutens County .lockey Club. Mrs. W. K. Vanderbilt II.s Satazen is the only notable absentee and lie is not in the entries for one reason only : that geldings are not eligible. Cieorgo D. Widener has named St. James, largest money-winner among the two-year-i.Uls last year, and one of the leading candidates for three-year-old honors this year. J S. Ward has entered Wise Counsellor, at present future favorite for the KentucKy Derby. J. S. Ccsden has entered two horses. Nautical and Iord Baltimore II. Nautical w;is not a world-beater r.s a two-year-old. but he developed wonderfully during the wint.-r and is already attracting considt table attention in Maryland. Lord Baltimore II. appears to be a sprinter and nothing else, but he has not met with any real tests as yet and may fool the experts. The Rancocas Stables Mad Tlay. another strong candidate for the honors in the three-year-old division, is also among the entries. Mad Plays chief claim to fame is his smashing race behind Wise Counsellor In the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes last fall, but hi3 partisans are freely predicting victory in the Preakness and the Derby for the brother to Mat Hatter. Following are the conditions and entries for the Dwyer : THE DWYBR— For three-year old entire colts and fillies. I.y subscription of $." 0 eich.
