Won easily second and third driving. NIMROD raced forwardly frcm the start, stood hard riding gamely in the stretch and won, going away through the last seventy yards. VOLT ran well and probably w uld have won. but for an attempt to savage NIMItOI in the last sixteenth. ELUSIVE raced forwardly all the way. MILE ROY finished well. LADY MARIAN ran a fairly good nice. Won driving: second and third the same. BROTHER JOHN, sluwing the most speed, raced into a good lead at once and, holding it well, outstayed RAIDER. The latter came with a rush through the stretch after making a slow beginning and would have won in a few strides more. LUCIDUS tired after racing in closest pursuit to the stretch. AEICE BLUE OOWN. after being back for the first half, moved up swiftly ill the stretch and, gaining steadily, wore ACTUARY down and headed him in the last twenty yards. ACTUARY set the pace and showed great speed for three-quarters, but tired badly near the end. ROCKY MOUNTAIN ran a fine race and finished well. MOONRAKER tired badiy in the stretch. OLIOB, tar back in the early running, moved up with a great rush in the last eighth, but swerved over aad, imiwding the nearest contenders in the last sixteenth, drew away to finish first, but was disqualified for fouling. PRINCESS DOREEN was in close quarters for the first three-quarters but saved mach ground on the last turn and finished fast. NELLIE MORSE raced forwardly. but suffered from some interference and tired after taking the lead. BEFIDDLE also was one of those jostled by GLIDE, and so was 1«AVEKN.
