SANS PECHE followed the early leaders close up for the first turn of the field, then moved up steadily on the outside when called on and. passing the tiring KL , KANTARA. won going away. EL KANTAKA was nittrli used in racing ETHEREAL BLUE into defeat and jumped well, but tired near the finish. LOYTKRKR moved up rapidly when coming to the twelfth jump, but could not overcome the two leaders. ETHEREAL BLUE attempted to race EL KANTARA into exhaustion and tired badly himself. 1J71TKKMAN made a trad landing at the eighth jump and tired. SMILING MEADOW refused to go with the leaders and, refusing again at the first jump, unseated his rider. Scratched 79R96 Bullseye. 158. Overweights — Loyterer, 1 pound; Smiling Meadow, 3%. PLOUGH BOY raced DOLOMITE into defeat and raced into the lead, but tired badly in the final i eighth. ROIjAXD gained steadily under hard riding, but was in close quarters when PLOUGH BOY crowded over to the inner rail. GASPER ran a good race. CATALAN closed up some ground from a 1 slow beginning. CHECK was away slowly. HENRY M. DIKTZ was as good as left. DOLOMITE quit after setting a fast pace briefly. THUNDERCLAP was cut off at the • head of the stretch when his rider attempted to come through. TEN MINUTES began slowly. RIALTO Went well to the last turn. CHERRY PUS quit badly.
