S. C. Nuckols, Jr., one of the stewards at I Latonia, departed Tuesday night for New | York to serve as auctioneer at the coming Fasig-Tipton sales. He will return to his j duties here Friday. Jockey H. Glyck is the latest to be licensed by the license committee at Latonia. Jockey H. Hay has been granted an ap-j prentice license and will ride for the stable of S. N. Holman. Jockey EL Stutts has gone to New York to ride Princess Doreen in the Coaching Club Stakes to be run at Belmont Park Saturday. Henius and Earl have sold the horse Guvnor to A. Pelletere, of New Orleans. C. Jones has disposed of the mare llena to. S. T. Baxter on private terms. The third edition of the Latonia program book, giving conditions of races from June i 12 to 19, inclusive, was issued today. F. Devereaux was fined 0 by the stew-" ards for assaulting Roy Slomer, agent for • the Greentree Stable. The altercation oc- curred during the morning hours. a
