DAN IV., was saved carefully for two miles, then moved up in the final turn of the field and was shut off when racing to the fourteenth jump, but came again and. racing to IMETTISTK, passed him and was going away at the end. DCETTISTE was unruly for the first turn of the field and bin ruler bad some trouble in trying to save him. but after taking the lead, finished resolutely in the final drive. CARABINER gained steadily when called on. hut failed to improve his position after getting to the leaders. COURTEOUS showed the most early .-peed, but set the nace on sufferance.
