"Won easily; second and third driving. OH SUSANNA began somewhat slowly, but passed HEADACHE in the first quarter and, racing into a long lead, won in a canter. HESSANNA raced prominently from the start, but had to be ridden hard in the stretch and finished well. ACCELERATION began slowly and was ridden wide on the turns, but eame fast near the end. HAROLD K. ran a good race and was running well at the end. SETHS ALIBI was allowed to race wide into the stretch, but came gamely near the end. ANN M. began tiring in the stretch. HERALD ran well. INK was badly outrun. VERBENA quit badly in the last eighth. COL. TAYLOR quit after leading for a half mile. GEE stumbled at the start and was repeatedly taken hack. JACK FROST tired. WHIFF quit badly after setting the pace to the far turn. Scratched 81707 naleakala, 111. CHAPLET raced well nil the way and fought it out stubbornly through the last sixteenth. RICHELIEU showed the most speed to the last eighth, but began tiring in the last sixteenth. DOUGH-ORKCSAN came from far back in the last quarter and was racing gamely at the end. GREAT LADY quit after reaching the stretch. SEQUEL was done after going three-quarters. DORIUS showed much improvement and barely failed to win. SOGGARTH AROON raced into a small lead, but was given a weak ride in the final drive and would have won under a stronger rider. GUELPH ran well. MARY ELLEN O. was always far back. i
