TOLEDO RACING UNDER WAY iFirst Days Sport Held. Over-Muddy Track Feature to Humble. TOLEDO, Ohio, Aug. 20. The summer meeting of eleven days at Fort Miami Park was inaugurated today -with a muddy track for tho opening program. The chief offering was the Miami Inaugural Purse of ,000 and the three-year-old Humble, a pronounced choice, scored an easy triumph, winning by five lengths with Lasses White second and Primus third. The secondary attraction, the Toledo News-Bee Purse, fell to Recommendation, which, beat the favorite. Right On Time, by a half a length in a spirited finish, in which the result was in doubt until the final strides. A longshot captured the opening dash when the four-year-old Spectator beat the favorite, Serbian, by a half length, with Beckna third, three lengths back. War Map made amends in the following race when he led home Acosta, the second choice. It was a well contested race but the favorite drew clear near the end. The third race fell to Little Romper, which beat Lady Colito easily with Copyright earning third place. The latter Avas favorite but could not overtake the first two.
