CANADIAN TURF RULERS Extend Suspension of Jockey Ferguson and Issue Trainers and Jockeys Licenses. WINDSOR, Ont, Aug. 20. The suspension of steeplechase jockey A. Ferguson, originally made for the Hamilton meeting was extended for the remainder of the Canadian racing season at a meeting of the Canadian Racing Associations in session here this morning. License applications consumed the remainder of the attention of the body. The following were present: G. M. Hendrie, Windsor Jockey Club ; H. J. Mclntyre, Hamilton Jockey Club; F. Richard, Dorval Jockey Club, and W. P. Eraser, Ontario Jockey Club. These trainers were given licenses : T. M. Baker, A. L. Briggs, C. Buxton, W. L. Clen-denin, H. Gilmore, J. McCue, F. C. McManus. S. McNeil. H. Gilmore, J. P. Polk, E. Rath-man, F. Ringer, A. D. Steele, J. T. Taylor, E. Trotter, H. Tullett and W. Weathers. Riders licenses Avere granted to T. Burns, M. Buxton, R. Costello, L. McDermott, S. Lawrence and J. Roberts. Joe Rowan received a license to ride horses trained by himself. The following agents were authorized: N. K. Beal, for Mrs. H. F. Dubner ; W. L. Clen-denin, for J. B. Clendenin.
