WINNERS AT COLUMBUS Total of 2,125 Distributed in Nineteen Days Meeting Parsons Leads List. - The Capital City Racing Association dis-, tributed a total of 2,125 during the nineteen i days of the Columbus meeting, -which opened j August 2 and closed August 23. There were j 133 races decided and the daily average dis- tribution amounted to ,322. 1 J. A. Parsons was the most successful of the owners taking part in the meeting, his . horses accounting for eight races and ?4,805. The Missouri Stable likewise fared well with J eight victories and ,535 to its credit. Of the winning horses, The Colonel was the largest winner with Blue Hill, Chief i Sponsor and P. T. Barnum also figuring prominently. ! J. A. Parsons heads the list of trainers , and K. Noe leads the jockeys.
