G. C. CUDAHY BUYS GLIDE HAWTHORNE RACE TRACK, Aug. 27. The biggest turf transaction of the present Hawthorne meeting took place today when Harned Brothers and Jones the Louisville owners sold to G. C. Cudahy, of Chicago, their good three-year-old filly, Glide. Acocrding to the conditions of the sale the filly was to run in the interests of Harned Brothers and Jones in todays fourth race. The sale also included the two-year-old My Dream. The consideration for the pair is said to have been 5,000.
