PETITION raced forwardly all the way and finished with a rush. WAVECREST was going fastest of all at the end. SOUBRETTE tired slightly at the end. SAMOSATA set a fast pace to the stretch and quit. NIVLAG finished fast and caught PLAY ON in the closing stride. PLAY ON tired after racing ST. QUENTIN into defeat. CARRY ON finished well. ST. QUENTIN quit after leading to the stretch. WINNIPEG raced into the lead, but tired slightly in the stretch. PLANET finished well. WRACK RAY set the early pace, but raced wide on the turn out of the backstretch and tired. LAMPUS showed speed.
