j RIGHT ON TIME TO FORE Captures Toledo Auto Club Purse . for A. E. Eastman. His TIctory Recorded a Double for Eastniar. Stable, Eye Bright Being the Other AVlnncr. : t TOLEDO, Ohio, Aug. 2D. Racing in the colors of A. S. Eastman, Right on Time captured the Toledo Auto Club Purse, sixth and feature race at Fort Miami Park this afternoon, beating Hughes Graham and Sister Sue handily, after leading by a comfortable margin all the last half mile. The race was run. over the full three-quarters and he covered the distance in 1 :12, a creditable performance. Topango, making his first start in a long time, showed a dull performance. The victory of Right On Time marked the second . success of the afternoon for the Eastman stable, as Eye Bright had carried the green jacket to a handy victory in the fourth race. Both were skilfully ridden by jockey C. Eames, and Eye Bright showed the way throughout. Saving much ground entering the stretch where the leaders ran out, enabled Times Up to beat Stargo after a stirring stretch struggle in the initial dash. Oneida led all the last half mile of the second race to a handy victory, but Col. Pat just got up in the closing strides fo beat the weakly ridden Gloom in the third race. Coming from the rear in the stretch Paula "V. and Lottie Loraine annexed their respective races rather handily. Ideal conditions prevailed and a good crowd witnessed the sport. C. E. Davison today purchased John Joseph at private sale. H. Davis, with eight head ; S. J. Kelley, three ; "W. Brown, four, and H. Carter with four, will ship from here to Maple Heights, Cleveland. C. R. Aldrich and C. E. Davison will bo among the stables going tc "Wheeling, "W. Va., tomorrow night, a special horse train having been arranged to handle the shipment of a" hundred. Carl Drake has shipped the H. "W. Moore string and "VV. Sankes Crystal Ford to the North Shore meeting at Chicago.
