DUCKLING set the pace to well into the stretch, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. SEA TIDE raced in the heavy going all the way, but held the rest safe. PARMACHENEE BELLE began slowly, but gained steadily and was wearing the winner down at the finish. MIT, close up in the early racing, tired in the final drive. ROYAL DICK was close up all the way but could never improve his position. MEDDLING SETH set a good pace but quit after reaching the stretch. EXCUSE ME ran Well. PREVIEUX raced wide on all the turns.
