RAISED ON. A BOTTLE OTTAWA, Ont, Sept. 4. Betty D., which won her first race at Niagara Falls yesterday at the age of six, was raised on a bottle by her breeder, Mrs. T. J. Donoghue. Until the age of five Betty D., which is named for Mrs. Donoghues daughter, roamed about as a family pet. Then she was put to racing and won at the third asking.
