This year Black Gold has won four Derbys, the Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio State and Chicago. T. A. R., Chicago, and others. "Wise Counsellor and Worthmore were entered in the recent International Special at Belmcnt Park by J. S. Ward. It is a matter of common knowledge that Mr. Burton owns Wise Counsellor in part, if not wholly. Backers of the Ward entry in that race should be paid, backers and layers alike knowing that Wise Counsellor was a member of that entry, re-garmess cf the actual degree of Mr. Burtons ownership.
