SARATOGAS GREAT MEETING Total of 11,015 Distributed During Twenty-Six Days. TV. Daniel Leading "Winner Because of blaster Charlies Yictory in Rich Jlopcfnl Complete Figures. The wonderful racing at Saratoga, the so-styled Ascot of America, has come and gone. During the month of August the best horses of this country and Canada contested for the rich stakes and overnight purses offered by the Saratoga Assocition. There were twenty-six days of racing and 157 races run, the total distribution amounting to 11,015, a daily average of 5,808. Because Master Charlie won the Hopeful, the richest of Saratoga stakes, his owner, W. Daniel, heads the list of winning owners for the meeting. His winnings amounted to S.S00, while W. S. Kilmer is second with 7,125 and G. A, Cochran third with 7,875. The big winners among the horses were blaster Charlie, Sunny Man, Sun Flag, Sun-sini, Sarazen, Klondyke, Priscilla Ruley and Sunsard, in the order named, each with 0,000 or more to his or her credit Jockey Ivan .Parke found an opponent worthy of his steel in Johnny Maiben with the result that there was a tie for the riding honors each with fifteen winners, Maiben leading in percentage.
