KENTUCKY JOCKEY CLUB STAKES NOVEMBER 4 LATONIA, Ky., Sept. 22. The 0,000 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at one mile, one of the star attractions at Churchill Downs fall meeting, is usually run on the last day, but General Manager "Winn announces that this year the stakes will be run on Saturday, November 4, instead of November 11, so as to avoid any conflict with the Pimlico Futurity, which has been set for November 9. "Wise Counsellor won the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes last year from a high-class band which made him the Kentucky Derby favorite, and as practically every stake-winning two-year-old in the country is eligible for this years contest the winner may be rightfully entitled to claims for the championship of this class.
