ADRIANOPLE slipped through on the inside and took the lead, but. swerved when challenged. TILNA ran a gcod race all the way. ROYAL GIRL showed early speed. WRACKLANE raced prominently from the start. WATTLE and ORPHELIN began slowly. BROOMFIELD, away well, worked his way up on the inside and, saving ground on the stretch turn, finished with a rush and held BEAR GRASS safe at the end; BEAR GRASS closed a big gap and, making a challenge in the stretch, finished fast and gamely. PAT CASEY raced prominently from the start and finished close up. SKIRMISH raced well. RACHEL POTTER showed high speed in leading to the stretch, but tired badly. BYRON finished well. BAR GOLD was away well, but dropped back in the first eighth. LEVOY showed the most early speed, but quit badly after leading to the stretch. Scratched S4155High Prince, 11G.
