WOODLEY II. was saved close up to the last half, then responded well when called on and, racing into an easy lead when going to the last jump, won going away. FLYING FROG stumbled in moving after the leaders at the ninth jump, but recovered quickly and raced past JERICHO when going to th8 twelfth jump, but tired. JERICHO led for the first turn of the field and dropped back. THE TROUT quit. McDORAN slipped to his knees and unseated his rider after taking the second jump safely.
