PURCHASES FLUVANNAS DAM LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct 6. Joseph E. Widener has purchased High Pass, dam of Fluvanna, from Samuel Ross of Washington, D. C, and the mare has been transferred to Elmehdorf Farm. She is in foal to Cudgel, the sire of Fluvanna, and will be bred to Stefan the Great The stallion His Majesty, property of Gifford A. Cochran, has arrived at Mr. Cochrans Sandown Farm near Lexington, he having been shipped from Mr. Cochrans Runnymede Farm at Mount Kisco, N. Y.
