HOMING BIRD raced well In the going, but began slowly and had to make up ground, but t came with a rush thncugh the last eighth and won in a canter. BROWNIE raced well and finished d ramcly. PRECIOUS ONE showed a good order of speed and finished fairly well. BACKBITER came e from far back in the last quarter. DUANNE tired. INVASION set a good pace to the stretch and quit t badly. CORINTH came with a rush after closing a gap and was going 5 fastest at the end. PINDAR PEEL raced close up for the entire race and made a game finish. HUON " PINE began tiring in the last eighth. The latter began fast and, showing much speed, finished fast and gamely. REPUTATION ran well and was racing gamely in the final drive. THE RUNT began slowly, but raeed into close up contention with a rush in the first quarter ter and appeared the winner when rounding into the stretch, but tired. RAMKIN closed a gap in the last quarter and finished gamely. ANTIQUITY sat a good pace and tired badly after going the first mile AVAR PRIZE ran well. WRACK RAY dropped back after going a half mile.
