ENGLISH TURF NOTES ! Sabine two years, by Itoi Herode, out of Sabia, has been turned out of training. The successful Belgian horse, Franz Hals, has finished his racing career, and goes to the stud. Alcazar in the Becher Steeplechase was the fourteenth winner that Poole saddled this jumping season. Papyrus has left Newmarket for West Grinstcad. Eagles Tail is an addition to Bazleys stable at Malton. ITerne the Hunter having been sold, has left Lewes for Market Harborough. Hobbe, the jockey, recently left France for Egypt, where he will ride this winter. Starwater three years, by Sunstar, out of "Waterwillow, has left Lambourn for shipment abroad. Mr. Gerald "Walter Langlands, one of the clerks of Epsom race course, who died on August 9, left gross estate of the value of 50,030. Lall, the successful Lincolnshire trainer, who has started the season so conspicuously, is expecting some important additions to his string. Vatard, who will ride as first jockey for Mr. Cohn next season, is in negotiation with Aga Khan for second claim on his services.
