LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS A new honor has come to jockey Ivan Parke. By riding six winners last week Parlce has now passed the two hundred mark . in winning mounts, a record which has not been equalled since 1910, when Guy Garner, who finished second in France this year, was Americas leader with an even 200 winners to his credit. Of course, in years previous to 1909 it was the usual thing for the leader to pass that mark, going as high as 388 when Walter Miller topped the list. Parke has now what appears to be a safe hold on the riding honors of this year, as J. Wallace, his nearest rival, is undergoing treatment in a Baltimore hospital and will hardly be able to ride again this year. Johnny Maiben and Harry Stutts divided with Parke the laurels of the week, each riding six winners. M. Garner rode five.
