6 ARRIVE AT MIAMI TRACK First Consignment of Montfort and B. B. Jones Stable Reaches Florida Course. MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 4. The initial shipment that will race during the inaugural meeting at the Hialeh track of the Miami Jockey Club for Montfort and B. B. Jones arrived here today and were assigned to one of the-spacious barns. Nine head made up the shipment, which was in charge of stable foreman M. J. Ayers, and all but one have raced with distinction during the year. The nine are as follows: Pegasus, Surf Rider, Hobson, Planter, Danguillo, Silver Slippers, Fuo, New Gold and Automatic. The latter is a two-year-old that has never started. Trainer Kay Spence, who is at present at Berryville, Va., where the extensive breeding farm of the Jones brothers is situated, is expected in Miami during the course of the next week. In addtion to the nine horses which arrived today ten yearlings which were chosen by trainer Kay Spence will be shipped here from the Virginia farm this week. The Juveniles were bred by Messrs. Jones and were broken and taught their first racing lessons over the private training track at the farm. When Spence arrives he wilL take over the stable and finish up the training. Both Montfort and B. B. Jones have announced their intention of spending several weeks at Miami during the racing season.
