McCAFFERTY LOSES RACERS HAVANA, Cuba, Dec. 4. J. J. McCafferty reported the loss of two racers, Oak and Quaker, which he left here last spring. Some few weeks ago while they Avere being galloped, they got the better of their riders and bolted into a ditch. They fell and broke their legs. McCaffertys string is now made up entirely of Cuban-bred horses, seven yearlings and the two-year-olds, Dextrose and Sentent.
