QUAVER began slowly and closed a big gap in the first three-quarters, hut tired slightly near the end. RORK raced wide on the turns, but came fast through the stretch. COLONEL WAGNER ran -well, but tired badly after going three-quarters. TRUST OFFICIAL was a close up contender to the last ! turn. ROCK BOTTOM tired badly in the stretch. THEO had no mishaps and, after closing a gap, tired and just lasted to save third place. REMNANT ran forwardly and made a game finish. POLLYMARA was away slowly and made up ground. RUBIEN can do much better. LADY BOSS and LESTER DOCTOR were always far back.
