LATEST TURF GOSSIP FROM NEW ORLEANS NEW ORLEANS, I-a., Dec. 23. John F. Schorr, accompanied by Mrs. Schorr and their two grandchildren, arrived from their home in Memphis, Tenn., and will be the guests of Malcolm MacFarlan during their stay in New Orleans. Mr. Schorr was at Jefferson Park Tuesday afternoon renewing old acquaintances. Entry blanks for the United Hunts Racing Associations spring meeting were received Tuesday. Edward Josiah arrived Tuesday at Jefferson Park with the horses Foxtail and Ash-burton. Josiah, who was formerly a jockey in the employ of John F. Schorr, was granted a trainers license by the stewards.
