ALEXANDER MOORE, probably best, was ridden wide on the last turn, but finished fast and almost got up. JURAL EARLY raced forwardly for most of the race ami finished well. TRANSFORMER closed a big gap. LA BELLE set a good pace, but tired badly in the last eighth. DUPLEX showed early speed. The latter raced prominently for the entire way and was going fast at the end. MUSKEG lost much ground by coining wide on the last turn, but finished well. CARNARVON raced well, but began tiring after reaching the stretch. FELICITOUS showed speed, but dropped back in the last eighth.
