RUNAWAY set a good pace, but tired and raced wide into : the stretch, taking ANGELA with him. DK. McARTHUR tired badly. MISS MANAGE made up ground. ALAMOUR slipped through on the inside on the first turn and, escaping all interference, followed the pacemaker to the last turn, where she moved up with a rush and, quickly passing COLONEL MATT, outfinished the fast-coming TEN OAN. The latter ran well and would have won in another stride. EAST INDIAN cs?aped interference on the first turn and made a game finish. MIZANNA met no difficulties.
