RANCOCAS AGENT DIES Dave Leary, Assistant Trainer and Agent of Rancocas Stable, Dies at Jamaica, L. I. NEW YORK, N. Y., Dec. 29. Dave Leary, assistant to trainer Sam Hildreth of the Rancocas Stable, died at his home in Jamaica. L. I., today. Leary had been ailing for many months, but after a sojourn to Hot Springs, Ark., last spring he returned home somewhat improved. Later during the summer he was again stricken ill and was placed under the care of physicians. The latter were never able to diagnose his case accurately. Leary was associated with Hildreth for many years, and was regarded as the Rancocas trainers right hand man. He was agent for the stable, and took charge of the majority of the horses that were shipped from New York to fulfill engagements in other sections of the country. Leary was about 42 years of age and had a wide circle of friends, both on and off the track, in all parts of the country.
