MARYLANDS BIG REVENUE FROM 1924 RACING BALTIMORE, Md., Dec. 29 The state of Maryland this year will receive 21,000 in round numbers as its revenue from the four one mile tracks Havre de Grace, Pimlico, Laurel and Bowie figures from the state racing commission, complete with the exception of Laurel, today indicate. This revenue is made up of two items: 1 Tax of ,000 for each day of racing at each track, and 2 tax of 15 per cent on the net revenue of each track for the year.
