HEROLD SHIPS TO MIAMI Trainer to Campaign Public Stable of Six Horses at Florida Track. NEW YORK. N. Y., Dec. 29. Frank Herold is the latest New Yorker to ship to Miami. He will train a public stable for James Fitzsimmons, the Belair Stud and H. AV. Haxwell. Herold has shipped six horses to Hilalcah for the inaugural meeting, which opens January 15. In the string are several well known to Metropolitan racegoers. Mark Over, which raced for the Belair Stud, is still in the maiden ranks. H. W. Maxwells Miss Vaal has a set of brackets to her name. This pair heads the string, which also includes Clutha, Sarmaletta and Mary Grace. The latter three are coming two-year-olds and are not what would be called culls. The youngsters were highly tried over the Aqueduct track before being shipped south. These trials lead Herold to believe they should win races at Miami. Herold will have the services of one of James Fitzsinfmons riders during the meeting. The Jockey will be selected later,.
