LUCKY saved much ground on the last turn and, finishing well, outstayed SILENT LILLIAN. The latter closed a big gap and was racing gamely at the end. DUPLEX ran a good race and finished with a rush. JU15AL EARLY was away poorly and raced far back. VALENTINO also was far back. LA I5ELLK quit badly after leading to the last eighth. Won easily; second and third driving. PETEU PIPER, away fast, was well ridden and, setting a fast pace, held the race safe all the way, winning as his rider pleased. BUSH BUCK began slowly and was ridden wide into the stretch, but finished gamely and got up in the final strides for second place. EVENTIDE began tiring near the end after racing forwardly.
