Won easily; second and third driving. PI LA DBS saved ground on all the turns and, coming fast through the stretch, took the lead and drew away when LITTLE P. LACK SHEEP came wide. The latter set a great pare, but came very wide when entering the stretch and tired. CZARDOM raced best of the others. TOM SAUNDERS closed a big gap and would have been third in a few more strides. GLENLIVET raced well, but was tiring at the end after passing LOCH LEVEN. The latter showed the most early speed, but tired after leading to the last eighth. WITHOUT raced on the outside of the leaders and saved ground on the stretch turn, but had to be hard ridden to withstand the challenge of SOLOMONS KILTS.
